New to vps thingy, any tips?

New to vps thingy

Hello, i need some tips to know before getting a vps here. 

Question so far in mind is, 
Could i get a vps package without additional cost(with cPanel) or do i have to pay for it? or with WordPress also.

If you want any commercial software (like cPanel) you will have to pay monthly for licenses. You can get your WordPress site running without any commercial software also (e.g. if you will use Virtualmin control panel or no panel at all).
